“Ovos”

Ovos is an textile installation I made for a private collection in Brussels.

This work is composed of organic forms that come together and drift apart. The points of contact and separation between them create a play of balance between emptiness and fullness. Blue and orange, as complementary colors, enhance this dialogue. The loose, untensed volumes reveal subtle shadows that bring life to this richly textured, unique surface.

In this macro-weaving installation, I placed central importance on the gesture of entering and exiting. The material, fibrous and vibrant, feels animated - as if each form is attempting to intrude, hide, and reappear within the others.
